UNIDO strives to forge meaningful partnerships for furthering the adoption of best practices and policies relevant for Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development (ISID). The objective of these activities is to mobilize and equip key stakeholders (businesses, industry associations, government entities, research and innovation centres, among others) for ISID, and facilitate linkages and information-sharing between stakeholders in matters that require collective or coordinated actions.
This can be achieved through activities such as exploring synergies among UNIDO's projects in India and possibly elsewhere, enhancing cooperation and knowledge sharing with Government agencies, industry bodies and centres of excellence, promoting private sector engagement in R&D and technology transfer, leveraging Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, promoting ISID focus for start-up and innovation accelerators, engaging with multilateral agencies, bilateral agencies and international organizations and South-South and Triangular Cooperation.
